Sopariwala's journey as an artist started as a student of applied art. Painting for him is a medium of expression, enlightment and also a medium of self analyzing. When he thinks about painting there are certain kinds of questions about his life and he reflects the same in his work.

His style of work is a metaphorical landscape of his own mind and also the solid symbol of his emotions like mystery, fantasy, darkness, suspense, drama, desire, and fear.
